Privacy notice

How Just Celebrate uses your information

Last updated: 27 August 2026. This notice explains how Just Celebrate handles personal information when you create a plan, save vendors, create an account or send an enquiry.

The important bit

We do not sell your personal information. When you send an enquiry, the enquiry information is shared only with the vendor or vendors you choose to contact. Trusted technology providers may process information on our behalf only so that Just Celebrate can operate securely.

Who is responsible for your information?

Just Celebrate, operating through justcelebrate.co.uk, is responsible for deciding how customer information is used on the platform. Privacy requests can be made using the contact details published on the Just Celebrate website.

What information we use

Depending on how you use the service, this can include your account email, celebration type, event date, location, approximate guest count, budgets, saved vendors, enquiry details and technical information needed to operate and secure your account.

Why we use it

We use personal information to provide the planning service you ask for, save your choices, deliver enquiries to vendors you select, keep the service secure, prevent misuse, respond to support requests and meet legal obligations. Our lawful basis will normally be performance of a contract or steps you ask us to take before entering one, legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, and legal obligation where applicable.

Who receives your information?

A vendor receives your enquiry information only when you choose to contact that vendor through Just Celebrate. We do not provide your details to unrelated vendors and we do not sell customer data for marketing.

We also use trusted service providers that host, store, secure or deliver parts of the platform. They process information on our behalf under our instructions and are not permitted to use it for their own unrelated purposes. We may also disclose information where the law requires us to do so.

How long we keep information

We keep account, planning and enquiry information only for as long as it is needed to provide the service, deal with disputes, maintain security records and meet legal or regulatory requirements. Retention periods are reviewed and information is deleted or anonymised when it is no longer required.

Your browser plan

If you plan without signing in, your celebration plan and shortlist can be stored locally in your browser. You can remove that browser copy using the Clear plan option. If you create an account, selected information can also be stored securely with our platform provider so it is available across devices.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict use of your information, object to certain processing, receive a portable copy of information and complain about how your information is handled. Some rights depend on the circumstances and lawful basis being used.

Cookies and similar technology

Just Celebrate may use cookies or browser storage that are necessary for sign-in, security, saved plans and core site functionality. Optional analytics or marketing technologies should not be used unless the required notice and consent are in place.

Complaints

If you have a concern, please contact Just Celebrate first so we can try to resolve it. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

Changes to this notice

We will update this notice when our use of personal information changes and will bring material new uses to customers’ attention before they begin where required.
